The final walk-through for house painting is a step you don’t want to skip. In fact, at ColaTown Painting we insist on it to ensure your complete satisfaction! So what is the final walk-through and how should it go down?
During the Project
After you have gone over the contract and chosen the interior colors or exterior colors you want, it is time to step back and let the professionals do their job. If anything is amiss with the color speak up right away. If you need to change the color selection – don’t wait until they are finished painting. This will incur major costs for you and time delay for the painters. Otherwise, the project will go on as planned.
When to Inspect
At ColaTown Painting we request that the homeowners do a walk-through on their own the night before the project is scheduled to wrap up. This gives the painting crew a chance to cover all your concerns on the final day of painting and keep your project on schedule.
Towards the end of the day, when painting is about to be completed, a final inspection should be done with the crew leader. This gives you one last chance to be sure you are a satisfied customer – because after all, that is what we aim for. It is important for you to be available at this time so the painters can correct any problems before they clean up. If done properly, you eliminate the need for follow-up appointments!
Wrapping it Up
As you make the final payment, please remember that professional painters live and die on their reputation. Your approval is important to that reputation, so don’t hesitate to speak up. If you had a good experience others will want to know! Recommendations and reviews are always welcome.
At ColaTown Painting we aim to please! Give us a call, text or e-mail if we can help you with your project. Our estimates are always free and we are happy to answer any of your questions. Britt – 803-603-6486 or ellisb@colatownpainting.com
