How soon should I call in advance to get my paint project done by a certain date? A good rule of thumb is 4 to 6 weeks prior to the date you want your project completed. During our busy season for exterior painting (April through October) it is best to book as early as you can to get on the schedule.
Our busy season for interior painting can occur at any time, but a lot of people try to book right before the holidays, like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. An added plus to scheduling early is that it gives you extra time to decide on your color choices.
Can I get a painting estimate on a weekend when I am not working? Absolutely. We work with your schedule. We also do evening estimates. Of course, all estimates and consultations are free. You can contact us now!
Besides exterior and interior painting, do you do anything else? We also pressure wash/clean and stain/paint your deck or dock to make it look like new.
What paint brands do you use? Our choice of paint is Sherwin-Williams because of the wide variety of quality paints, stains and sheens/finishes they offer. In addition, there are literally hundreds of colors to choose from and you can peruse our color fan or use their ColorSnap Visualizer to help you choose just the right color for your home. However, we are happy to use any paint brand that you request. We want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied – that is our #1 goal.
How many coats of paint do I need on my home? Usually one coat of paint is sufficient for the exterior, but it also depends on the current color, condition of the current finish and what color you choose to cover it. On the interior, it may be necessary to prime or use two coats if you are changing from a darker to a lighter color or you are going from a high sheen to a lower sheen. We will give you our professional opinion, but you make all the final decisions.
Can I leave my home when the painters are at work? Certainly. While you are at work or running errands our professionals are prepping and painting. We are licensed and insured – so no worries for you!
